Supplemental student instruction and lessons
Corrective Reading is designed to promote reading accuracy (decoding), fluency, and comprehension skills of students in grades 4-12 who are reading below their grade level. Students are grouped based on their ability and are instructed 3-5 days a week.
Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) is designed as a reading intervention to supplement classroom instruction. It is an intensive reading program that focuses on fluency and comprehension to help improve students' reading levels in grades 1-5.
Math Clubs - Math teachers use classroom data and create individualized lessons for their groups. They will focus on filling gaps from previous years as well as promoting the grade-level skills being taught in class.
Reading Clubs - Reading teachers will be using classroom data to work on grade-level skills. Students will be doing author studies, book clubs, Lexia, and responding to their reading.
Reading Eggs - In grades K-2, this developmental program supports students learning to read with its focus on five key elements of reading success: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency. The program utilizes game-based learning and fun incentives to engage young learners in the reading process, and its science-backed program has proven success.
Reading A-Z - This comprehensive reading support program for all students in grades K-5 supports learners at their individual reading levels, allowing teachers to monitor student progress across a broad range of reading activities, as well as providing students immersive reading experiences at the most appropriate instructional level for them.
Dreambox Math - This adaptive math program personalizes pathways of learning across all math strands for students, engaging them with game-based conceptual math learning. Teachers can monitor progress and provide targeted interventions for students based on their individual needs through the program’s robust data collection.
Reflex Math - This highly engaging math fact fluency program for students in grades 2-5 uses game-based learning to build students’ fluency and confidence in basic math facts, from addition and subtraction to multiplication and division. These skills are essential building blocks for success in all other areas of math, and Reflex Math’s targeted practice supports our students’ overall math success.
MobyMax - This program provides additional practice in science topics across the grade levels for students in grades K-5, providing enriching adaptive instruction across science topics, including rich visual aids and critical thinking questions, allowing students to practice applying science skills.
